Under major refurbishment, it was necessary to upgrade the water penetration rating of the installed single stage louvres located over the window system to the seven storey university building. Working from mobile scaffolds inside the building and in close coordination with the fit-out trades, we retro–fitted 320 No. two stage louvres inside the ceiling space. Additional work included the installation of 25.4 mm thick heat strengthened laminated glass to 100 metres of street awning.
Over-cladding the nearby services building with perforated aluminium sheet and the main entry canopy with 4mm thick folded Alpolic aluminium sheet completed the project.
